It’s a bit boozy, but that varies a bit from bottle to bottle. Otherwise a good choice to get away from cheap Sekt.

It’s nice, but the finish is a bit stale and - except for the ginger - boring.

Malty but with a resinous and citrusy hop-balance. A bit metallic in the finish. Okay, not ecxiting.

The lovely brown colour, the big foamy head, the smell of fruits and coffee, the sweet and bitter taste. A nice Brown Ale.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-1 thanks to Herrklemann] @ home. Nice dark red-brown color, huge foamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, a bit caramel, lightly brown sugar. Taste malts, brown malts, malt bitter, iron, a bit sweet like some kind of distant red-blue fruit (blueberries or raspberries for instance) and a bit bitter. Decent body, low to average carbonation. Hmm ok beer.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth fresh beginning. Deep and easy to drink. hints of sourness there, dark malt, refreshing fruity. Roast is there, dark cherries, wood. The rum inside fits in great, round and deep, fruity dark dried raisins harmonising with fantastic smooth malty body. Round and deep.

Dry beginning. Typical for what it is - dry dark roasted grain, grainy bitterness with a great stout body. Easy to drink with lots of dry burned roast, caramel and a dry bitter roasted aftertaste.
