(swing top bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet, slightly molassy and melanoidic toast-malty aroma with bready notes, caramel and shades of alcohol. Sweet flavour, almost full bodied with a calm carbonation. Quite robust toast-malty and caramel-laden taste with hints of molasses and bread; moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with caramel, traces of chocolate and alcohol in the aftertaste. 19.II.12

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with bready and nutty notes, accompanied by a tinge of metallic hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasted malty taste with hints of caramel and a slightly bready touch; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with herbal accents and traces of metal. Rather average. 19.II.12

Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Bottle, 5.6% as Landshut Winterfestbier. Papery aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty and slightly papery. Good maltiness, slightly sweet. Well-balanced.
