Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby pour, huge frothy beige head on top. Long lasting, thick lacing on the glass as it goes down. Herbal and fruity nose, notes of grapefruit. Mild roasty. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, smooth and easy drinking. Medium bitter taste with subtle roasty notes in the background. Aroma is centered around the hops, fruity notes of grapefruit, pine and orange peel. Mild caramel sweetness in the background. Notes of dried fruits in the aftertaste. Slightly liquory. Dry finish with lingering bitterness on the tongue. Solid.

RB backlog. Citric, floral, dough, light boiled egg, herbs, some yeast esters. Dry start, pearly carbonation brings up tart notes, dry and bitter finish. Light body with a bit too much pearly carbonation. Good example of a classic Golding Lager.

On tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Shared with lovely Anja. Clear golden, small off-white head. Not in a good shape. Diacetyl. Buttery and fruity. Hops lost in the aroma. Flavour shows hope, hops lost, malts present, some spicy flavours. Tart. Alcohol well hidden. Medium body. Soft texture. Biscuity malts in the finish. Moderate bitterness. Starts bad, finishes good.

Bottle, 0.5l. Dark brown pour, two finger creamy beige head. Long lasting, very good retention. Solid lacing as it goes down. Nice on the nose, mild roasty, some subtle fruity notes, cocoa in the background. A bit woody. Thin body, medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel, average texture. A bit on the watery side. Medium roasty bitter taste with slight fruity sour notes. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt, dark fruits and berries. Slight woody notes, a bit nutty. Mild cocoa. Fruity aftertaste. Short to medium finish, mild alcohol presence. Good and easily drinkable porter. A bit on the light side though, definitely not robust. Decent.

Pours almost perfectly clear amber colour, topped with aa medium sized and not really lasting offwhite head. Malty notes with caramel and biscuits in teh aroma, some hay hoppy presence in the back. Gentler malty sweetness upfront, biscuity with balancing medium hoppy bitterness. Peppery finish, lasting aftertaste. Lighter body. Proper. Simple.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy orange pour, minimal soapy white layer on top. No lacing on the glass. Good on the nose, solid amount of hops. A bit of grapefruit and orange peel, mild herbal background. Thin body, soft carbonation. Light mouthfeel, quite watery texture. Mild bitter taste with very subtle sour notes. Aroma is pretty much watered down. Mild caramel in the background, a bit of hops, citruses - grapefruit and orange peel, slight grassy and herbal. Finishes short, bland and empty. A bit dry. Overall, drinkable but unimpressive. Feels quite empty. Mediocre effort.

On tap at the taproom. Pours dark chestnut brown, almost black, topped with medium small beige head, but nicely creamy and pretty lasting. Gente maly nose, some roastiness and a bit of biscuity presence that gets more noticeable as it warms up. Slightly more roasty in teh taste, a bit sweet with biscuity and nutty character and moderate hoppy bitterness with shortr aftertaste. Medium body, but nicely silky. Easily drinkable, though would want more character.

On tap at Ljubljana Beer & Burger Festival, April 2018. Cloudy to opaque orange, small off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, tropical, mango, stone fruit, malty background, also biscuit and dough. Fruit profile nicely balanced. Nice fruity flavours, juicy, malts present, hops are low in flavour. Balance is nice, wonderful mango in the finish. Very smooth and creamy, light to medium body, soft carbonation, moderately fruity finish. Mango presents throughout, not too sweet, maybe some hops would be in order in the flavour. No flaws.
