5/8/2018. Bottle from Karstadt Frankfurt Zeil. Pours lively mid gold with a short lasting sparkling head. Aroma of cooking apples, and a hint of caramel. Moderate sweetness with medium sourness. Light body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Fair.

From fass in a cafe in the Frankfurt Altstadt romer square. My first Apfelwein. Cloudy orange color, flat. Simple nsoe or apple, tartness, light tannins. Semi tart flavor, semi sweet as well, dry but not very taniic and quite fruity and nice.

1l bottle in basel. pours a clear pale golden. aroma of sweetish apples, medicine. flavour of tart apples, slightly sour and sulphuric. mealy and rubbery mouthfeel.

12-02-17 // bottle at a concert in Festhalle Frankfurt. Clear goldn, nose of ripe apples. Taste is sparkling apple juice, dry, apples. Easy to drink, good to quench the thirst.

Bottle (1000ml): Golden, clear, slightly sparkling; ripe apples, unripe apples, malic acid and some subdued cellary nose in the almost moderate sourish-sweetish nose; mild to moderate - as well - sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied, not really dry, not really tart; slightly lingering fruity (apples, lemons)-sourish finish, subdued tartness and very delicate mouldy/cellary notes in the aftertaste.
