Bottle at share. Violet pour, small ring of head. Fruity, jelly jar aroma, sweet. Flavor starts with the tartness, follows with the fruity sweetness. A bit of pucker.

(375ml 2016 bottle from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours lightly hazy medium gold with a fizzing, rapidly vanishing white head. Notes of heavily oaked white wine, quite woody really, some grape skins and twigs, some sweet-tart berries and somewhat lactic citrus juice, wet funk, attic, hint of wine vinegar, drying in the finish with more wine barrel feel, hay, dusty funk. Medium bodied, quite low carbonation. Nice grape character here and it feels closer to traditional lambic than the other fruited Le Roar bottles I've tried. Quality stuff, a nice pour to toast the new year.
