(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Grainy pale malty aroma with strawy accents and a whiff of grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather tame carbonation. Mildly grainy malty base with shy grassy hoppy spots; sweet-bitter, moderately malty and delicately grassy finish. Very boring but drinkable Lager. 25.II.14

Can from Dunnes Stores, Longford [090212]
Light orange yellow, hazy, big frothy white head that dissipates, some lacing
Aroma - Spicy, wheat, clove, bubblegum, fairly aromatic, fairly intense aroma at first that quickly subsides
Taste of fruity pale malts, wheat, soft banana and clove, some apricot, slightly astringent, bit watery, flavour diminishes in the middle
Palate - soft carb, light body, little powdery, a bit sweet. Finish is quite rapid, dab of bitter wheat
Overall - Average hefe, little dull but not too bad

Bottle. Barley malt and fresh hay aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Stale barley malt and lightly bitter herb flavor. Not too bad.

CAN 50CL.
Look: golden, cloudy with an off-white creamy-to-frothy head that is smallish for a wheat beer and the retention is sub-par too.
Aroma: wheat, yeast, fruity, slightly spicy - a bit of everything.
Taste: wheat tartness, CO2, some fruit/sweetness, a touch of light spiciness/bitterness in the finish.
Not bad for an "industrial" hefeweizen.

CAN 50CL.
Look: dirty yellow and cloudy with a off-white, big, creamy head with good retention.
Aroma: mostly fruity/estery: banana, pine-apple, a bit dusty and maybe too perfumy.
Flavour: wheat, bit spicy, light astringent bitterness. Body a bit too thin.

Bottle: Pours clear, old gold with a short, whispy white head. Grain malt, metallic aroma. Taste is grain, slightly leafy/grassy hops. Dry, slightly bitter finish. Cheap eurolager.....with less skunk. Not terrible.
