CAN 50CL.

Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: dirty yellow-golden, murky.

Aroma: faint fruitiness, little spiciness.

Taste: little fruitiness and clove, some wheat sourness.

The aroma is not bad, the look is ugly and the taste quite bland.

0.5l can for 6kn. Eh. Paaaale clear golden body with a huge white (likely chem) head. Sticky as f*ck fake sweet dusty lemon aroma. Taste... weak mess, clash of sugary sweetness and bitterness, some aspartame?, cardboard and empty, vague fake lemon. Terrible grainy notes break through too. Almost everything a radler shouldn’t be. 4/2/2/4/1

Zähringer Lemon. Now, supermarket radlers are rarely worth not drainpouring. Like the new K Plus ones, brewed at Laško - quite good examples of what a radler should be. Not overbearingly sweet, slightly tangy to help the drinkability, not that fake, and possibly not loaded with artificial sweeteners (though I might be wrong on that one). Heck, even most regular radlers fail at most of those points. But seeing this can, seeing where it’s brewed, you just know it’s going to fail. The design is nice ’nuff, mind, but it’s a cheap German radler. And those are NEVER good. This lovely example of wasted ingredients poured a yellow-orange??, clear body with a small white head. The stale fake lemon aroma starts to waft and you’re left wondering why on Earth did you take up this hobby, but a hint, just a hint of tartness pushes through, promising that it might not be that baad. Just might. And then you taste it. And suddenly, the lemon’s gone. Sugar water. Damn sugar water. Like what some drink when they have the hiccups. Only carbonated. Wow. How the hell did they achieve that? 2/3/2/4/1.5

CAN.

Head: beige, medium, frothy, poor retention. Colour: amber-brown, almost black.

Aroma: caramel/lollipop, licorice, light roast, quite weak.

Taste: light caramel, light roasty acidity and bitterness.

Quite a nice schwarz, but somewhat too light in body and intensity.

CAN (1 yer old).

Head: off-white, medium, creamy, avg. retention. Colour: dirty golden-amber, cloudy.

Aroma: faint, banana, yeast, gets some sweet malt/corn as it warms up.

Taste: wheat tartness, slightly spicy and bitter finish.

A simple bland hefeweizen, with no major problems but not much interesting either.
