Sample at the tasting room during the Bourbon Barrel Mead Tasting - Limited Hours & Bottle Sales on 12/15/2018. Clear brownish-amber color with a minimal head and patchy legs on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, hazelnut and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, hazelnut and floral honey. The finish is sweet with a bourbon and hazelnut aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of ripe banana, honey and peanut. Medium body with flavors of sweet banana and honey, with slight peanut butter in the background. The finish is honey and banana. Decent overall.

Slightly hazy bright yellow-gold color with a minimal white head that burns away quickly to a wispy film. Spots of lace and legs. Aroma of apple, honey and floral hop. Medium body with flavors of spiced apple, floral honey and citrusy hops. The finish is fruity with an apple and honey aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Clear dark golden color with a minimal white head that disappears quickly, and sparse legs on the glass. Aroma of caramel, honey and apple. Medium body with flavors of sweet honey and caramel and green apple. The finish is caramel and mildly tart apple. Above average overall.

Aroma of bourbon, pecans and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of candied pecan, bourbon and honey. The finish is sweet with a honey and pecan aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

This mead is a clear pinkish-maroon color with a minimal white head that evaporates quickly, and sparse spots of lacing. Aroma of raspberry, honey and vanilla. Medium body with lightly effervescent with a mildly tart raspberry character and notes of honey, vanilla and spice. The finish is raspberries and honey. Pretty good all around.

This Mead is a clear purplish-red color with a minimal head and slick legs on the glass. The aroma consists of raspberries, blueberries and honey. Medium body with flavors of mildly tart raspberry, blueberry and floral honey. The finish is mixed berries and honey. Pretty good overall.

This Mead is a clear orange color with a minimal head and sparse legs on the glass. Orange, vanilla and honey in the nose. Medium body with flavors of sweet orange, vanilla and floral honey. The finish captures the essence of a dreamcicle very well, with sweet vanilla and orange. Pretty good all around.

Apple, honey and spice aroma. Medium body with flavors of spiced apple and floral honey. The finish is fruity with an apple-cinnamon aftertaste. Above average overall.
