Description

Backlog. Tap at Brnensky pivni festival. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Subtle, but present honey character. Mostly hoppy, with high bitterness, med-light sweetness. General citrusy and fruity hops character. Good, classic, with a little honey twist - why? And why not? Good.

Tap at Warm Molt. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light candyish malty sweetness. Moderate presemce of smoke, seems to be a combination of smoked ham beech and light phenolic peat, which is interesting. Overall as a rauch lover I give a thumbs up.

Bottle from BaseCamp. Clearish amber body, white head. Some herbal hoppy aromas with liiight citric and flowery undertones here and there, but predominantly herbal. Also a grainy, rough, husky malty touch. Huh. Nice, lean body, with the hops giving it an interesting herbal-flowery touch, not as strongly flowery as Saaz, not too herbal. Okay carbonation, medium to lean body. And, again, that husky grainy malty touch, thankfully lighter than in the aroma. Argh. Would be a solid lager if not for that off touch. And with 106 CZK for 0.75l of a pils (5$), can't say it was worth it much. The premium is I guess that I'm the first one to add it and rate it online seemingly - on an international site definitely.
