Taster at Tusculum Brewing, Boerne, TX. Crystal clear yellow-gold color with a small white head. Perfumy aroma. Weird. Light hoppiness with a bright malt finish. Dry mouthfeel. Okay.

Draft at the brewery. Pitch black pour with a beige head and great retention. Dark malt and booze aroma. The taste follows the nose: Roasty malt flavor with a boozy finish. The 13% ABV is evident, but smoother than I expected. This is the highest ABV I've ever had. Heavy body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Definitely a slow sipper.

Draft at the brewery. Pitch black color with a large khaki head. Definite dark malt aroma, but not a very roasty aroma. The flavor is not as light or dry as many dry stouts, but it has good roasted flavor. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Low bitterness. Good beer, but not a great dry stout.

Draft at the brewery. Yellow colored pour with a small white head. Almost no aroma. Tastes as you'd expect for a light beer: Very light bodied, smooth and clean pale lager. High carbonation, crisp. Not bitter. Nothing special, but surprisingly good flavor for just 3.8% ABV. Well done.

Draft at the brewery. Gold color with a small white head. Surprisingly very little aroma. A super smooth and mellow hazy IPA with only a tiny bit of hops in the finish. Not juicy. I would have never guessed this is a hazy IPA. Light body. Low carbonation. Very approachable and easy to drink. Maybe not a great hazy, but a good beer.

Draft at the brewery. Deep gold color with a small off-white head. Very little aroma at all. Lightly sweet. Super smooth and clean. Lower than average carbonation. No bitterness. Nothing unique, but this is a very good, repeatable lager.

Draft at Tusculum Brewing. Clear gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Limited lacing. Tastes like a cross between a pale lager and a pilsner with a semi yeasty finish. Weird mix of flavors. It's not bad but I don't think I would seek it out.
