A collaboration I wanted to try and luckily enough I stumbled on it at Stand Umineko in Kyoto. Tokyo Aleworks x Napalm Death Smashing Imperialism Imperial Stout 9% Deep black with a fast dissipating tan head and big roasty aroma with savory umami soy notes. Full bodied with a raspy carbonation, dark chocolate, roasted malts and butterscotch. Quite a bit of savory elements and 70% cacao coming up in the finish. A beer that grows on you though the carbonation like the band is aggressive.
