Z plechovky (@ Místní samoobsluha, Praha-Podolí): Clear, deep golden, small and slowly diminishing loose white head, sweet pale malty aroma with delicate toasty (?) traces, delicate - as well - earthy-bitter background; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and soft; short and mild earthy and sweet-malty finish. Sigh! A clean, but very tame Bohemian Pilsener...

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! --Clear golden, small head. Fruity nose with some tea and notes of cooked vegetables. Mid dry with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Bready, fruity malt, some DMS. Notes of tea and grass. Resinous bitter finish. Shows evident signs of production cost reduction.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that can! Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy moldy-soapy notes. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced, but a bit boring-malty. Okay.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that can! Looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice creamy head. Starts wonderful mild malty, roasty, light smokey touch. Some hints of chocolate, some coffee. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced, milder, soft-malty. Nice!

500 ml can. Murky black with a big fluffy beige colored head. Licorice, toffee, caramel, metal, lemon, cocoa. Dry metallic bitterness, roasty malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry bitter roasty finish. Nice!

Plechovka: (Díky do jezera!): Almost black with a reddish sheen, stable creamy and lacy off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of dark malt and toasted malt, caramelly and fruity traces underneath, mild herbal bitter background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nesrly medium bodied, soft; slightly lingering smooth bitter-sweet finish with toasted malt, dark malt and herbal hops. Překvapeni! Nečekané slušné pivo…

gefunden in einem slowakischen Tesco-Supermarkt und neu für mich Da ich tschechische Schwarze -auch aus Industriebrauereien- sehr gerne mag, freute ich mich schon auf diese unspektakuläre Dose. Allerdings war es eher enttäuschend. Nicht wirklich schlecht, da fein aromatisch, aber meine Erwartungen waren einfach höher (offenbar zu hoch). Es hat schöne kaffeeige Aromen, aber sonst ist es auch nicht sonderlich tiefgründig. Kann man gut trinken, aber nicht sonderlich aromatisch-harmonisch. Wäre interessant von Fass zu probieren.
