American Aroma Light Ale 4% 12 IBU
A brassy gold with a filmy white head. Hopped with Cascade & Summit it has a dank pine and citrus aroma. Raspy carbonation with a soda bread malt character and sharp fruity hoppiness . This is kind of in the session hoppy ale category, Nice. Apparently, it’s different from last year’s which was 30 IBU hopped with Cascade and Bravo so I’m adding it as a new entry plus the name’s slightly different.

On tap at Beer BAL Darkhorse, possibly their new house beer? 6% 700+tx so 750 yen for a small. It pours a deep ruddy Amber with a thin beige head of foam. The nose is cocoa, coffee & cream. The taste is sweet coffee & chewy bready malts. A bit bready & bitter. Good stuff.
