33cl bottle from a Co-Op in Geneva. A plain and rather tasteless pilsner style lager. Nothing actually bad about it, but nothing good either.

33cl bottle from a Co-Op in Geneva. A murky straw coloured pour with a creamy white head; aroma of yeast, orange and coriander; soft and grainy in the mouth, with a short lasting banana and clove taste. A pleasant witbier, but lacking the intensity of its Belgian and German cousins.

330ml bottle at La Clémence on Place du Bourg-de-Four. Very dark brown pour with a bit of light to mid-brown head. Molasses, corn syrup, sarsaparilla aroma. Sweet smoky taste: more molasses and corn syrup. Tasty although it has a bit too much of a burnt malty aftertaste (reminds me a bit of Dragon Stout in this regard). Full body. A lovely beer.

Bottle from Wine Universe, Geneva Airport train station
Cloudy golden color with generous head. It’s rather mellow, with a moderate character of Belgian yeast, and traces of fruity esters; ordinary bitterness.
Not bad.

Drinks of the workd, Geneva bottle: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is kind of candied sugar and malt. Taste is light and a bit aweet. This does not taste like a pale lager. No, not one bit.
