Lazy Magnolia is Mississippi’s oldest packaging brewery, and the first one since prohibition was enacted in 1907. We’ve been offering locally brewed beer to Mississippians since we were founded in September of 2003.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mildly roasty dark malts, toiuches of dark chocolate and coffee. Tangy dark fruits. Airy dry finish brings a little spice. Okay.

Bottle split at Chriso Easter Tasting acquired from Charleston Beer Exchange, 04/04/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is faint plastic, chocolate, toffee, light antiseptic, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises bitter fruit, milk chocolate, spice, toffee fudge, sweet malt. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok drop but low end for style.

Bottle at ChrisO, big thanks to Theydon Brois for this rare state tick. It pours black with a decent tan head. The nose is rich roast, dark chocolate, sweet chocolate brownie and rocky road. The taste is bitter roast, earth, cocoa, ash, drying wood, light spice, toast and charcoal with a dry finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Really good aroma to this one. Pretty decent stuff.

2014 bottle. Pours nearly black with a large brown head. Too much head. Smells of chocolate and alcohol. Taste is chalk, blah chocolate, dirt, and sour fruit.
