Black pour and dark brown head. Aroma is earthy, roasted malt, a bit sweet. Full bodied. Earthy, roasted malts, bitter chocolate, a bit of black coffee. Not overly heavy or difficult to drink. Really nice stout.

Rich slightly hazy copper and orange tinted body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of rye, resinous and piney hops, earth, malt and a bit of nice fruity sugars. Medium to slightly Full-bodied; Strong rye flavour that shows very well and isn’t too assertive, but also having a proper balance of hops and sugars, all showing strong and not overpowering any other flavour. Aftertaste shows more of an earthy and malty bite with the rye and grain more noticeable along with a very mild alcohol warmth throughout. Overall, a surprisingly nice and very well-balanced IPA with a rye note and a mildishly double ipa quality, but not full out. Definitely worth sampling if you can find this! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop (12th Street Location) on 19-December-2014 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 24-February-2015.

Keg at the Beer Sellar, Nashville, 15/02/15. Amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light pecan, syrup, sweet, caramel, nutty. Taste comprises caramel, sweet, bread pudding, light spice. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation - overcooked, semi drying close. So so affair but definately the best beer I’ve rated from Mississippi at this point in time!

Rich clear copper coloured body with a three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of ridiculous amounts of fresh piney and tropical fruit hops with a kick of resin and sugars in the mix - very nice and definitely mouth watering. Light-ish-bodied; Strong hop flavours up front and a good kick of grapefruit, lemon, resin and pine in the mix with a smaller amount of malt than expected and a well balanced sweetness of tropical fruits on the finish. Aftertaste shows mainly hop characteristics with a very nice bittering quality and a robust finish with pine, resin and even some guava sugars on the end. Overall, a very nice Light IPA that borders on a real IPA (that’s the way it’s classified here) that is a real winner - a very easy drinking IPA with tons of flavour - definitely worth sampling if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 21-January-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington about a month later on 18-February-2015.
