Bottled, thanks Cletus! Hazy copper colour, huge creamy head. Floral strawberry nose. Fairly sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Some lingonberries. The pecan flavour is akin to chestnut, but nuttier and doesn’t cone with any of the acidity those beers generally have. Low hop rate and only slight bitterness.

Bottle thanks to mora2000 for the Mississippi rate. Pours with a fading tan head and a brown-bronze body. Aroma of brown sugar, sweetness and corn meal. Taste is bland, sweet, pecan, brown sugar and caramel. Fizzy and dry.

Bottled, thanks Cletus! Clear deep golden with coarse bubbles that fails to form a head. Perfumy lemon aroma. Mid-sweet with clean, hard mouthfel and light body. Very simplistic abd sketchy beer, a session beer without drinkability.

Light brown color. Aroma of unprocessed grain. Thin palate. Much more of a brown ale, and not such a bad one. But this is far too thin and light to be a porter. The Southern Pecan was a much better beer. Thanks to Skyview for Sharing this one.

Not a pecan fan. Foamed like crazy when opened. Tan foamy head. Smells like porter and nuts. Darker than a pale lager but just as clear. Some decent carbonation. Typical brown ale flavors if not milder than the average. No nuts apparaent, just browny and dark. OK beer experience. Finish is not too bitter. Should have tasted under better ambient circumstances.

Bottle from TheCheeseMan, thanks! Blonde, pours a massive head. Grassy citrus aroma, just a touch spicy. Malty citrus flavor with coreander, orange, cardemom and anis. Just a hint of tartness. Decent.

growler from garmonbozia, pours dark amber with a medium light tan head. Nice roasted malt and pine hop aroma with some coffee notes. Flavor is nice and rich with coffee and chocolate notes mixed with a roasty light smoke in the finish. Really nice and rich, this is a great offering, wish it wasn’t a seasonal. Easily one of the best porters I’ve had.
