Session Mead. Clear, yellow gold pour at the Thirsty Growler. Potpourri peach & caramelized apple juice nose. Caramelized peach juice, plastic, orange oil, chem burn, lingering juice box, slight grain ugliness. Medium high acid, middling tartness, not much heat. I've had better from them, disappointing.

On tap at C&G, Dallas. Clear, shiny, honey tea pour; lightly frothy. Obvious strawberry jam & warm honey lemon tea. Taste is acidic lemon over a cooked strawberry jam & clover honey richness. Lots of back sweetening I'm guessing because it tastes too fresh. Taste is a bit like Arizona iced tea. Moderate acidity & tartness, melded with lots of honey sugars. Too rich, but a tasty diabetic session if kept cold. Good enough.

Sampler/only size option at the source. Released for their 4th anniversary. Black, syrupy, still pour. Smell is complex earth & wildflower honey with some subtle vanilla. Taste is rich with cola & mellow bourbon sweetness. Unidentifiable background spice, sticky toffee, seemingly zero oxidation, very warming, slight acid, little actual abv heat. Amazing.

On tap at the source. Pale, slightly oily green yellow, unfortunately flat. Smell is bitter veg & catty hops. Taste is flat, old bitter veg hop, onion, salt. Yeasty veg nose. They said they had problems carbonating, but it wouldn't have been great regardless. Worst of the bunch.

Part of a sampler flight at the source. Cranberry orange, clear brew. Soft & sugary cranberry cocktail nose, less tart. Cranberry tarragon is bitter sweet, edging sweet. Nose is a big dose of orange rind & cranberry relish. Tarragon is background noise & foggy but is always there, adding a great extra note. Flat, thin, should be carbonated. Good to great.

Part of a sample flight at the source. Clear, russet amber, not quite still. Nose is dominate with sugary, unfermented honey & low spice pumpkin pie. Taste is pretty sweet pumpkin puree, noticeable nutmeg, low cinnamon, natural flavors, slightly botanical honey. Too thick & desperately needs carb. Tastes fine.
