(Draught at Bishop's Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 1 Sep 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, spicy nose with bread, hay, citrus and spicy yeast. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of citrus, hay, bread, spicy yeast and a balanced bitterness in a finish with fresh citric hops. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made saison. Nice one.

Tasting @ Tim's. Pours dark brown, beige foam there leaving some lacing traces on the glass. Nose has smoky peat, liquorice and some vinious character. Taste has also peat, not too sweet, some ashes and light roast. Actually really well balanced and even hops are coming through with some citrus character. Good cocoa chocolate finish, lingering chocolate bitterness.

Dark brown color. Massive iodine, pear, whiskey, oak, tar, smoke, tart nose. Lighter body, Slightly sour, roasted malt, oak, peat, iodine, smoke. Kinda decent. Not my style but not my style

Bottled, from Folkölsbutiken, Stockholm. Hazy orange/pink with mid sized pink head. Aroma of rhubarb with some lemon and raspberry. Tart with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Lightly grainy, otherwise dominated by rhubarb and tart raspberries. Nicely drinkable, but more tart lemonade than Saison.

Bottle 330ml. @ Chris and Ruth’s House, London. [ As Modernist Savant ].Unclear matt medium orange yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, herbs, moderate yeasty, citrus, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, gooseberry, saison yeast, fruity, light tart. On tap at Katarina Ölcafé. Hazy golden with a small white head. Soft with mango, some herbs, passion fruit and light malt. The body was kind of light and the finish a bit dry.

Keg at Katarina Ölkafé, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, mid sized head. Generous aroma of mango, grapefruit and passionfruit. Dry with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Toasty malt lots of elderflowers and mango. Very bitter finish. Tasty!
