Very clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a pretty ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of grass, hay, light grainy malt notes with some lemons and light yeast and bready notes with a dash of caramelised sugars and toffee sweetness noticeable at the very end. Light to Medium-bodied; Fairly grainy and malted barley flavours dominate with a lot of grassy and herbal qualities a well with the malt aspects, but these show through everything, with only a touch of hops and sugars here and just about nothing else, aside from a touch of bread and yeast. Aftertaste shows some sweetness from the toffee and caramelised sugar flavours, but the majority of the profile lies in the maltiness with some grainy, grassy and slightly earthy notes showing the strongest, by far. Overall, a decent enough beer with a decidedly malty and even caramelly kick that shows some yeast, grain and bready action as well, but not much from the hops or complexity in general. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from German Gourmet in Falls Church, Virginia on 12-September-2021 for US$2,99, with a 'best before' date of 26-May-2022, sampled at my house here in Washington, well before that date, on 11-January-2022, sampled as 'Einsiedler Bier Swiss Alps [unfiltered beer] on the label'.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is weirdly spiced, must be the hay. Taste is sweet white sugar, hay again, on the sweet side. Full mouthfeel with soft carbonation.
