Aroma is roasty, coffee. Taste is bittersweet with an emphasis on the bitter with roasty flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. Tastes stronger than 6.8%, but that’s fine with me.

Lean pale malt, bright orange, grapefruit, a bit of pine. The clean malts allow the hops to shine. Medium bitterness. Pretty good.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Clear, brassy gold color. Finger-high frothy beige head. Subtle, bready malt aroma. Some fruity notes. Bittersweet malty flavor upfront. Some tangy citrus is followed by resiny pine notes. Dries out in middle. Some hop spiciness on backend. Nicely done.

12 ounce can. Medium gold pour. Rocky white head. Fragrant citrus aroma. Bready malt flavor has fruity citrus and resiny pine notes. Medium bodied. Dry, bitter finish.

Pale amber, slight haze. Fairly big hop nose - some allium and orange, also herbaceous, with some biscuity pale malts. On the palate, gentle malt. The same sweetness level as their regular IPAs, but it works much better for a TIPA with lots of bitterness (Warrior & Columbus, yeah), and that alcohol sliding in. Very well balanced, and what I appreciate is that the allium doesn't come through on the palate. Aside from that bit of citra on the nose, this expresses the TIPA about as well as you can get.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 01/30/2025). Clear yellow gold with small white head. Dank, mild resins, quite dry, not too boozy, well balanced. Enjoyable.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is oily, with plenty of resinous hops, gentle dankness, and pine. Flavour is intensely hoppy, with dank hops galore, huge piney hops, resins, and just enough malt backbone. Bitter, oily, intensely hoppy. Absolutely fantastic, expertly balanced, and yet potent as hell. For diehard hopheads only.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma has some gentle piney hops, soft floral notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is moderately dank, with bitter piney hops, and biscuity malt to back. Dry, bitter and nicely dank. Excellent.
