On tap at Georgetown, pours a clear golden copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out strong notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, and apple, along with resinous hops and a big caramel malt backbone. Flavour is aggressive, with red apple, melon and grapefruit, followed by a bit of a vegetal presence, and caramel biscuity malt. Certainly aggressive, though perhaps a bit messy. Good, but brutal.

On tap at Georgetown, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is quite piney and tropical fruity in the hop department, with just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully balanced, with loads of piney hops, bright stone tropical fruits, and just enough caramel malt to back. Excellent balance, bright and hugely flavourful. Excellent beer.

On tap at Georgetown, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of bready malt and a nice dry resinous hopping to balance. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, some toasted caramel and just enough hopping to bitter and dry this out. Well-balanced and refreshing. Solid.

Draft pour pint at Rooneys, as part of my "how the hell have I not rated this" series. I remember having this beer a bunch in my freshman year of beer drinking. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Not much has changed. Jet black pour with a lasting tan head. This beer is a classic. Bold chocolate. Smooth finish. Cant believe this beer goes for aingle digit growler fills on price. Steal. Excellent.
