Our mission has been to produce vibrant, quality and innovative beer with a truly authentic team of humans since 2015. Structures Brewing was founded by James Alexander after spending years working at breweries in Washington, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

In 2021, forces were joined when Bryan Cardwell partnered with James. Bryan comes from a background of world class brewing experience in Washington and Oregon. Together they have meshed their skills of brewing great hoppy beer and lager beer... while also loving to explore the realms of curiosity in Imperial Stouts, Barleywines and Smoothie Sours.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich vanilla beans, medium roast, and a touch of cherries. Flavour is quite rich, deep chocolatey malts, vanilla beans, and only a tiny hint of the cherries that I might not notice if I weren’t looking for them. Chocolatey, vanilla-y finish with the subtlest cherry influence. Excellent.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of gooseberry, some dankness, melon, and bright pine. Flavour bursts with bright melon, gooseberry, dank piney hops, tropical notes, and just enough sweetness from the malt to back. Pristine hop blend and overall balance. Fantastic.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is full of hopburn, allium galore, and melon. Flavour is much the same, with tons of allium, moderate chalk, gentle melon, and moderate bitterness on the finish. Too much allium and too chalky though not egregiously so. Not my thing.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma has toasted malt, a hint of cocoa, maybe a touch of vanillin. Flavour has a nice sweetish malt character, vanillin, a touch of cocoa, and some red fruits. Clean and well-made, though not the most complex. Good.

Last 3oz!!! Couldn't even get a full pour 😬
Shared with Josh during our trip to Festival of Dark Arts 2026.
Aroma: very dank, moderately sweet.
Taste: along the same lines. Low carbonation, not sure of it's because of the very last pour or it is just like that.
Overall: good one.

Opaque. Pale. Smells good, lots of stone fruit hops. This is thick, super sweet. Not my type of IPA, just thick.

Aroma: roasty, creamy, smooth, light sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, coffee, moderately sweet.
Overall: not sure why the heck this has no cherries and vanilla and being on the coffee side. Double-checked with the server and she confirmed it was posted from the right tap. Oh well...

Dark brown. Thin head. Chocolatey body, light vanilla. A bit of alcohol in the finish. Light body. So a suboptimal base and weak adjunct.

Aromas are malt, spice, floral with a bit of yeast. Flavors are similar to nose. Balanced bittersweet with good carbonation for the style. Decent but nothing special.
