Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.
Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.
Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

9/10
Intense, heavy and complex with massive amounts of barrel, bourbon, cognac, vanilla, maltiness, prunes, figs, raisins, toffee, caramel and syrup. Quite heavy and massive, but super tasty and complex slow sipper.

Aroma is lime, slightly floral, minerals. Taste is lightly tart from the lime, finishing dry. Prominent lime flavor. Crisp, clean and refreshing. A little thin and watery though.

Tap at FFB20, shared with the crew. I only took numerical notes while having this one.

Draft pour at Wandering Tortoise, Phoenix. Dark, near black pour, thin espresso brown foam head. Aroma jumps out with a ton of vanilla and cinnamon spice from quite a distance. Cinnamon cookie palate, bold chocolate notes, some barrel that hides under the flavorful vanilla and cinnamon dessert. It's not cloying or overly intense in any way. Layered, complex, amd well put together. Incredible.

Can. Unclear golden body with a disappearing white head. Strong aroma with lots of citric fruit, some grapefruit, pine and malt. Flavor is sweet, but not sticky malt, lots of fruit like aroma, peach, grapefruit and good bitterness. The high alcohol is quite hidden. Fine body and long lasting fruity bitterness. Nice one.

Medium body, syrupy, quite heavy and boozy. Light roast coffee, coconut, bourbon, some toffee. Rich, hefty, very nice.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a clear bronze color with a larger than average white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Faint pale malt aroma. The taste is a mix of pale malt, light caramel malt, and some hops. A little acidic finish. I liked it a little more as I got used to it, yet not really the lager flavor I'm looking for. Medium body. High carbonation. Light bitterness. What is a winter lager anyway?
