Draft pour pint at Cloudburst, listed with only one A in handclap. Lighter cloudy yellow pour with a lasting fizz head. Bold grassy hop aroma. Flavor is fruity up front, with a bold grassy hop finish. Refreshing, which pairs nicely with both opening day, and the sunshine. My wife loves the song. I don’t get it, but the beer is good

For some reason, I was never familiar with Dr John, or the songs. So I figured I would listen along as I enter this rating, to get the full experience. If only I was enjoying the beer again. Poured on nitro at Cloudburst. Pours a jet black with a tan nitro cream head. Coffee and malts aroma. Super creamy body, with a milk chocolate and bold bitter coffee remainder. Drinks very nice up front, but ends on quite a bitter note. Pretty good overall.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Cloudy, light golden pour with a white thin bubble head. Dank hops aroma. Hop bitter flavor that lingers on. Turns fruity citrus late. Creamy, tasty, but a little less interesting addition to an impressive lineup of IPA’s. Can’t complain. Good beer.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops and balances by just enough biscuity malt. Flavour follows accordingly, with shitloads of piney hops galore, backed by just enough biscuity malt. Damn is this good. So piney, dry and drinkable. Phenomenal stuff.

Market Fresh Saison Version 03: Mango & Habenero from Cloudburst Brewing

Draft 12 oz pour at Cloudburst. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a bubble fizz ring head. Aroma is consistent with pepper spice and soft fruit. Flavor matches. Pepper wins but just barely. Slightly corny finish after all the mango and pepper settles. This series is interesting to me. Saigon series with different ingredients, however all the versions are so far from each other. Excellent beer, even without the Kenny Powers inspiration. By the way, met the head brewer tonight, and it was an absolute pleasure. Proud to be enjoying your beer. Keep on rollin!

Hu11abaloo - Brouwer's XI from Cloudburst Brewing

Draft pour pint at Brouwers. I forgot my Hawaiian shirt, but they let me get the beer anyway. Offered on cask, but rating the regular first. Bright golden pour with tons of lacing. Bold hops aroma. Flavor is a big tropical fruit aroma that instantly reminds me of the theme. Piney, fruity hop finish. With the cask version, much creamier. Hop profile more dominant. Tropical fruit more subtle. Like two compete different beers, but both excellent to say the least. The brewer is a foot behind me right now. If you are reading this, hi, and the beers are awesome.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Cloudy yellow golden pour with a lasting fizz head. Fruity hop aroma. Thick, creamy body with a citrus fruit flavor and steady hops. Solid IPA, from there already impressive collection. Looking forward to the next one.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Nice to see these guys pumping out beer faster than I can keep up. Almost. Cloudy golden pour with a lasting fizz head. Biscuit like aroma with heavy hops. Hop bitter throughout. A bit of a nutty finish. Unique IPA in my opinion. Still kicking ass in the IPA game.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizz head. Aroma brings out peppers from a distance, and floral hops. Flavor is a nice combination of pepper flavor and sweet fruit. Doesn’t have any heat to it, though o expected it with habeneros on the bill. Good flavor throughout. Tray stuff. I guess I need to stick to the theme though.. FUCKING good beer.

Draft pour point at Chucks. Coffee black pour with a tan cola fizz head. Hazelnut is one of the few flavors in this world I really dislike, but I hoped it would be overpowered. I was wrong. Still good qualities here. Vanilla and hazelnut aroma. Coffee up front, nutty throughout. If that hazelnut didn’t linger forever, I’d like it better. This beer is made well, it’s just unfair that it’s not my flavor. UPDATE: I've retried this a few times, most recently at the 2nd anniversary party. I've began to look past the hazelnut, and more towards how incredible the base beer is here. Nice toasty character. Smooth, and a good amount of sweetness. I can drink this. One of the better of my disliked hazelnut beers. UPDATE: This beer just seems to get better and better over the years. Either hazelnut has grown on me, or this beer has sided more with the coffee profile, and has more of a peanut like nuttiness. Really smooth imperial. I really enjoy this beer. Excellent brew.
