Golden color with small white head. Very malty aroma, too much. Taste is sweet grainy-malty, slight bitterness, a hint of hops. Crisp feeling but not refreshing enough for a Pils. Meh.

Bottle: Cloudy to milky, pale-golden, mid-sized and slowly collapsing White head; sweetish-wheaty - plus dust - nose with a distinctive lemony touch; sweet - more than sourish - flavour, including a well hidden bitter touch, light to medium bodied, quite smooth; sweet fruity-wheaty finish, heavily subdued acidity, but some yeasty flavours detectable. A bit on the sweet side, but still drinkable...

Dark brown color with small head. Aroma is caramel malts all the way, a little bit spicy. Taste is also a little bit spicy and mostly malts. I don’t get it how this brewery manages to keep the malt taste like this. Certainly not bad, but weird.

Beautiful amber appearance with gold amount of stable foam. Aroma is caramel malts all over the place, hardly any hops. Taste is sweet-malty, very straightforward. Tastes just like a brewery smells when brewing with caramel malt, or like Malzbier :D Really nothing too intense though.

Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Cloudy, pale yellow with a dense head. Wheat-aromas: banana, perfume and sweet.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and loose foamy white head. Dusty aroma with bready malt and a little wheat, accompanied by overripe fruits, banana and phenolic spices. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Bready malty and slightly wheaty taste with notes of banana; bready and slightly papery finish with mildly clovy phenols. No highlight. 09.IX.14

Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Hazy golden colour with a medium-size white head. Yeast, wheat, grain, banana, caramel and mild biscuit in the aroma.

Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Lightly hazy mahogany colour, rich creamy head. Fruity grassy nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Some grains and caramel, plenty of brad and spicy, grassy hops. Long bitter finish. Mild, yet rich.

Had this as Wuppertaler 1/2 Weizenbier. Thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-yeasty, modest sweet. Not too dry. Light fruity notes of apricot. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!
