Bügelverschlußflasche:Golden, medium-sized white head that slowly collapses, sweet pale-malty and honeyish nose with pretty subdued floral hops in the background, light bodied, mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty soft; lingering hoppy and bisquity finish. A very nice brew, but not a real Pils IMHO…

50cl. nice amber colour with a beige head, that is fluffy and stable. The beer stats mild with a hint of citrus. Nice malt-aroma in the main part, a bit of toffee-sweetnes. Highly drinkable. Very smooth. The aftertaste is long, smooth, with nice malt-toffe-tones, not too sweet and only a little bit of bitterness remains on the tongue. --> Nice!! 12/13/12/12

50cl. Nice head. The beer is a bit cloudy in the glass. It starts fresh, a bit bready and a bit sweet. The sweetness together with a bit of yeast and malt is mainly present in the main-part. The beer is full-bodied, and turns a bit bitter in the end. The aftertaste is long, bitter-sweet and malty. A bit earth or mud - or old cellar... --> Nice, but for me a bit too sweet. Not very complex. 8/12/7/7

50cl. dark-brown flavour. The beer starts a bit bready, dark roasted notes, that grew stronger to the middlepart. The beer is fullbodied, easy to drink. Not very hoppy, a bit roasted aromas to the end. OK. 11/12/10/10

Bottle, purchased from the brewery tap some 30 minutes prior and consumed on the train to Dortmund, 28/04/13. Murky golden amber with a big frothy white head. Nose is toffee, banana, spice, herbs, touch minty, citrus zest. Taste compeises toffee, banana, corriander, spice, orange peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Solid enough weizen, no world beater mind.

Tap at Wuppertaler Brauhaus, 28/04/13. Murky mahogony brown with a thin beige head. Nose is on the thin side, dark malt, toffee, hints of dark fruit. Taste comprises dark toffee, sugars, malt, nutty tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dryish finish. Drinkable but on the bland side.
