2016 Vintage. Clear gold with active fizzing. Sweet apple, very dry Breton cidre + basic mead. Very tasty dry cider with lots of tannins, light beeswaxy honey. Moderate sweet, strong tannin dry and wry bitterness. Medium body, demi-sec, nice carb.

Honey apple with no head. Very pleasant, the honey homes down the apple for a sweet almost medicinal flavour.

500ml bottle. 2016 Vintage. 6%. Orangey golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of funky apple, herby. Taste is tangy, twiggy, fleshy apple, with herbal notes and lots of leathery drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle from Sterk, Amsterdam. Deep amber orange colour, thin white foam head and aroma of mucky barnyard funk & honey. Taste is sweet, tangy apple, orchardy, woody, funky with honey, spice and drying tannins. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry spicy tart and tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. A very dry and almost wine-like cider. Lots of apples, slightly bitter, cardamom, some residual sweetness over a bone bone dry palate.

Orange golden color with a head that goes down quickly. Aroma is apples, phenolic, vanilla, cardamom. Taste is nice apples, more phenolic aromas. Bone dry finish, like an apple that feels like flour. Bone dry doesn’t even cut it.
