Bottled at Elvira, Mexico City. Cloudy nut brown, small head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, wood and spicy hops. Mid dry with near full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Spicy hops, slight marzipan and brown sugar. Quite bitter finish with some resiny undertones.

A hazed amber weizen with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet banana malt with light cloves and melon, some ginger, interesting. In mouth, a sweet banana bread, wit cloves, ginger, watery bodied, so-so.

Mexican Imperial Stout from Cervecería Calavera

A deep dark stout with a very thick brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate with a light touch of molasses, and spices, light coffee, ok. In mouth, loads of chocolate, licorice, coffee, grassy vegetal notes, nice.

American Pale Ale from Cervecería Calavera

A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, good biscuit malt with floral hops with nice citrus pulp. In mouth, biscuit malt with grassy citrus hops, light alcohol , and burned caramel. Bottle at Kitchen6, March 30 2013.

Dark color, mahogany, hazy. Light smoke aroma, grains, very light vegetables. Mild roasted malt flavor, a bit dry and dusty at the end, with respectable bitterness. Average.

Hazy amber color; small creamy head. Light smoke aroma. Strange flavor; technicall, it’s smoky caramel, but it reminds me the flavor of milk straight from the cow, a bit of manure too. Strange but interesting.

Cloudy deep blond color. The aroma is a bit fruity. Medium body strength, sweetish flavor, with light spices and fruits. Simple.

Hazy golden color; medium creamy head. Medium aroma of malt and nuts (hazelnuts, peanuts). Dry mouthfeel, some caramel flavor, low sweetness, correct bitterness; there is something dusty. Imprecise.
