Bottle stowed away in my luggage from the taproom. Three days in the fridge. Mojito glass @home. Clear but jellied, honey amber, innocently carbonated. Earthy, stomped flowers, macerated fresh sweet cider nose. Iced tea, bittersweet apples, mellow lemon rind, corn, yeast cake, lingering leather & bitter pith. High octane for the listed abv. Softly carbonated despite their best intentions. Chewy & dry. Very good for a dessert apple.

Bottle pour at the source. Pale gold, still. Soft herbal with a twinge of prettier floral. Earthy, slight lemon, minor funk, gentle sweetness, strong acid & accompanying tartness: parched, lovely dry & drawn out slick-tart finish. Well integrated abv across the board. Nice.

They charge more for this bottle, but the same across the board for bottle pours. Wine glass at the source. Clear, still, amber pour. Needed a second pour to get acquainted. Hyper sharp, honey sweet, cherry skin, bartender feels it's more like strawberry. Lime leaf, macerated browned apple sweetness, very slight oxidation, leafy, sweet-tart then brutal astringency to dry it out. Thin but at times creamy. Some unintentional bubbles here & there. Richer than most Wickson I've had. So lovely.

Clear, dusty, still, stemware bottle pour at the source. Sharp, earthy, pineapple, moderate noticeable funk. Tart & astringent but with soft edges. Lime, chardonnay, mulch, damp leaves, gin, simple syrup, lingering punch. A little thick. Loved this.

Bottle pour numero dos at the quiet taproom. Apparently right before a children's birthday party. Dusty, clear, still, wine glass. Fresh & fruity, lime nose. Fruity, mellow tart, faint tropical, thin, low tannins, sessionable acidity. Touch yeasty. Very mellow for Newtown Pippin. Good not great.

Stemware at the tiny taproom in RI. Bottle pour. Pale, dull, amber gold pour. Sweet, astringent, very honey-ed nose. Mostly still, can't tell. Incidental carbonation I'm later told. Honey, red dessert apples, lime leaf, bittersweet, medium low tannins & tartness, bigger acidity. Off-dry finish. A little thin. Surprised & hopeful for the rest of the lineup.
