Light to medium gold, soda pour, with just a bit of protein haze.
Twangy, orange, pineapple, soap, floral nose.
Light twang & medium high funk. Floral, slight grapefruit edge, cakey yeast, starchy, semi-sweet, medium-low acid, medium high tannins. Warming, dry mouth.
Flavor profile is quite flat & not what I expected from my favorite Wickson. Maybe there's some undocumented blending going on or just a poor choice of yeast.
Meh.

750 hard wax bottle from Press online. Clear, deep gold, sparkling pour. Thick skin, earth, salt & very faint leaf mulch nose. Minerally & boozy front end leans into an un-sweet pineapple + bittersharp apple peel that ends a little short. Somewhat tannic apple core, very earthy & bittersweet towards the finish. Gummy & pithy follow through. Crispy, dry leaning, still very boozy, with a little tartness on the tail. Rough but good-ish pet-nat.
