Description
We got started in the fall of 2014 almost by accident. We had recently relocated to Portland, Oregon, after 18 years living and working in Tokyo, Japan. We were drawn to Oregon for many reasons, including a love for the outdoors and a keen interest in agriculture. (We had recently witnessed the devastation to financial businesses caused by the 2008 financial crisis and were eager to invest in something far more protected from the merciless volatility of financial markets).

Bottle from Press online. Clear Solo cup at home, election night. Clear, iced tea pour, a little jelled, quick fizzy head. Peach iced tea, watermelon candy, sweet ice wine, boozy white zinfandel trash nose. Off-sweet leaning dry. Bittersharp apples. Oaky, lemon tea, lots of hibiscus, juicy apple, slight lacquer, boozy finish. Thin, moderately astringent, boozy for the list, initially bubbly but falls off fast. Okay enough.

Single via Press online. Pint glass at home. Honey lemon tea, a little rum for nose. Hazy, still, honey gold pour. Hot ferment. Tastes like if Dabinett apples ran into a truck full of Arizona lemon iced-tea & ran into a ditch of wildflowers. Slight rum note out of nowhere. Extra pithy, lemon tea, low carb. A hint of sweetness is bullshit, it's sweet sweet. ...But the end result is pretty good. Tasty. Does the farm contract?
