Description
Welcome to our heartwarming brewing tale!
Imagine six neighbors, brought together by porch talks and shared beers. In 2018, inspiration struck under the stars: "Let's brew our own beer!"
Armed with sheer enthusiasm, they transformed their basement into a vibrant brewery. In 2020, amid the pandemic, their creation, Ed Brukske Tripel, was born—a testament to their friendship and love for beer.
The response was overwhelming, leading to their second masterpiece in 2021: The Blonde.
As the pandemic waned, they celebrated with an epic festival, 'Noe zen we aant klappen.’
Picture laughter, music, and their delightful brews filling the air.
This festival became an annual tradition, uniting friends and beer lovers in September.
Neighborhood history
'De Schans van Genenbos', where today's brewers live, was founded, dug and built in 1598 by local residents of 'Gennenbosch' as a fortified refuge.
In case of danger from hostile troops, gangs or robbers, members and their families could shelter here and men and weapons were gathered to defend the entrenchment.
