Taster at brewery. Extremely pale gold with small airy head. Light grainy aroma, crackers. Taste adds the right amount of hops snap to the finish. Just a bit shy of a great pils, but a good example of the style.

Taster at brewery. Golden pour with mild haze, small ring of head. Aroma hints at Belgian yeast and honey. Taste comes on strong, tripel notes, yeast, saison notes too. Interesting mix in an overall great beer. Potent!

Taster at brewery. Amber with Ruby tones, small ring of head. Prunes and plums on the nose with a healthy dose of candy sugar. Taste is sweet and fruity, more rock candy, then a slight metallic tinge. Not bad for a difficult style.

From a can to pint glass. So I may be a little biased - not only is Simcoe one of my favorite hops to brew with...but this was canned on my birthday!! Aroma is sweet, passionfruit and honey. Smells a little like a King's Hawai'ian Sweet Roll....really interesting and nice. Moderately hazed yellow-honey with a retained white head of small bubble that lingers during the entire pour. Flavor is sweet, peach and tropics. Really tasty. Besides the initial aroma, there is not a lot that strikes me as "simcoe" characteristics...but the beer is darn good!
