Can..6.9%. Dark blond colour with thin head. It's a sweet malty blond. There is a slightly dry woody element too. Overall lacking a bit of punch and is too sweet.

Clear yellow colour with lasting fluffy head. Pleasant noble hop bitterness. Nice malty base. Decent body. Not too carbonated. Pretty good

Huge, irregular and lacey white head over veiled yellow-golden beer, lively carbonated. Sweetish, gassy, vanilla-amandine smell (bit strange for a 'brut'). Alas also old malts, old peoples' houses full of antimakassars. And then again, some fresh green waterweed. Nose pulls in all directions. Toasted, oxydized malts (and hops? NB: well within BBd!). Weeds, stale cookies, dried-out nettle cheese. On top of all that, the finish sports this toasted, almost pharmaceutical flavour. Slick, very carbonated, faint burning MF. Oh well. Even favourite breweries sometimes are beside of the mark. And I hate a nose that sits perpendicular on the taste. From Dranken Goegebuer, Knesselare

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is fruitig zoet en licht bitter hoppig met een romig mondgevoel en iets van abrikoos, wat banaan en perzik.

Special version of the already existing Antigoon by Musketeers, conceived as a white (or wheat) IPA apparently; bottle from Drinks4U in Deinze. Snow white, wheat-enhanced, busily cobweb-lacing, pillowy, thick and firm head resting atop a misty yellow blonde beer with warm apricot tinge. Aroma of mandarin, brioche bread, warm butter, ripe kiwi, melon, melting powder sugar, fresh lemongrass, freshly cut dandelions, gypsum, field flowers, orange zest, apple blossoms, honey pomelo, something lightly homemade orange lemonade-like, moist apple cake, lemon thyme, banana, white pepper, touches damp earth and leftover dough. Sweetish fruity onset, impressions of ripe pineapple, pear, banana and sweet peach with citric side notes (orange early on), lively carbonated with smooth, softish, bit fluffy mouthfeel; soft brioche-bready core with sharper cereally edges, including clear wheat slickness but lacking a bit in the sourish and soapy effects I expect from wheat, yet properly soaked in somewhat restrained but effective New World hop aromas - shifting between orange zest, mandarin, kiwi and lemongrass. A fresh dandelion- and sow thistle-like earthy hop bitter effect mingles with higher tones of orange zest and mandarin, even very vague passionfruit, so that in all, the hop character here is outspoken and bold enough to set this beer in wider IPA territory; just a bit more wheat, however, could lift it up to a true white IPA. Bitterness remains very light - too light in fact, with orange juice-like sweetness prevailing, a bit too much so really. In this form, a kind of Belgian interpretation of white IPA, but in the good sense, with enough balance, aromatic power and colourful fruitiness; clearly one to choose above the regular Antigoon, even with a vague nod at Musketeers' past, specifically the Troubadour Special Reserva variants with special hops (in a time when New World hops were not a common ingredient in Belgian artisanal brewing). Nowhere difficult nor original, clearly too sweet (even a little bit sticky in the end), too easygoing, mass-marketed and sleek, but not unlikeable.
