Bottled. Almost black with a nice head. Aroma of nuts (peanuts?), chocolate, and a it of coffee. Flavor of raspberry jam, chocolate, a touch of coffee, raisins. Full and smooth. Dry, somewhat bitter finish with low overall sweetness and a slight port-like edge. A roasty aspect too.

On tap at Cask Pub, Pimlico. Hazy orange old gold. Lasting cream head. Hoppy aroma. Bit sweet in mouth but lots of American hops. Sticky double ipa hop aroma. Its good for a Belgian double ipa but maybe not as bitter as it could be. Bit sweet and heavy. Its ok but something does not sit right. Too much like a Belgian strong in the middle, lacks agility. Heavy

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy golden with a dense and lacing off-white head. Intensely citrusy hop aroma - great. Solid body, very sweet fruit and caramel with loads of citrusy hops. Some astringency in the finish - and quite some alcohol. Nice one! 010910

Bottled@The Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF tasting. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is strongly hopped with some mild yeastyness in it. Flavour is being quite much the same with some slight spicy notes. Tastes like a strongly hoppes Belgian Strong Blonde Ale.
