Draft sampler at the 2024 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pours a pitch black color with a long lasting light brown head and excellent retention. Dark roasted malts and light coffee aroma. Yes, it's boozy, but smoother than I expected. Less coffee flavor than I expected too - and that's a good thing. Good roasted flavor. A bit of molasses flavor in the finish.

Draft sampler at the 2024 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with a bright white head and excellent retention. Standard pilsner malt aroma. Pretty good straightforward pilsner. Medium body. Light bitterness. Clean, smooth, and crisp. Good example of the style.

Draft to Crowler: Poured a coppery orange with a bubble head. Aroma is dark fruit, Belgian yeast, sugars. Taste is dark fruits, plum, yeast, malt, leafy.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 10/09/23. Light black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is bourbon, toffee, stewed fruits, molasses, brown sugar dusting, light smoke. Taste comprises smoked malts, charr, ashen notes, dried fruit rinds, burnt toffee, good Laphroaig presence. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol and smoky Laphroaig kiss. Decent.

Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a deep dark colored body that has mahogany hued edges and supports a tiny ring of light tan foam bubbles. The aroma offers up caramel, malts and inviting smoke that moves ever closer to bacon the deeper the you navigate into the pull. A second pull adds a bit of chocolate but also just further verifies what's going on here. The taste comes across a little too thin but it does manage to usher in some pleasing notes. I get smoke rimmed thinly in smoked bacon, caramel sweetness, a bit of molasses and then boozy bourbon barrel notes toward the finish. The thin body doesn't allow for the depth and richness this beer should be delivering. Aside from that I'm still able to enjoy the flavour experience.

Bottle: Poured a dak black with a light brown head. Aroma is smokey, woodsy. Taste is smokey, boozy, bourbon, wow I don't get anything else outside of alcohol.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, lime, salty. Taste is nice grain, citrus, lime, light salt.

Draft: Poured an unclear golden with white head. Aroma is nice bouquet of hops, fruity, piney, resinous. Taste is juicy hops, piney, resinous, little wet. Refreshing
