De brouwmeesters van de Texelse Bierbrouwerij maken sinds 1999 hun bijzondere bieren. Texels speciaalbier wordt gebrouwen van uitsluitend natuurlijke grondstoffen, waaronder Texelse gerst. Dat maakt al de speciaalbieren tot een puur product van Texel.
In de voormalige zuivelfabriek van Oudeschild maakt de Texelse Bierbrouwerij speciaalbier met traditioneel vakmanschap en eigentijdse technologie.
In november 2020 door Heineken verworven.

Bottle shared at home. Almost perfect clear golden with white head. Sweet pale malts, straw, sugary, vanilla extract, light spices, dried up yoghurt yeasty. Moderate sweet and bitter. F: medium, white, average retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, vaguely fruity, yeasty, caramel, honey, floral. T: sweet malty, honey, weak bitterness, grassy, fruity, bit bubble gum, simple sugary, medium to full body, medium carbonation, nothing special or memorable, more on the sweet side, 30cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

Vintage 2009. brown color, very small tan head. smells ripe fruits, marzipan, nutty, sherry, caramel, light rum notes, spices. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of sherry, marzipan, nutty, earthy, light caramel, dried fruits, bit peppery. finishes lightly dry with notes of sherry, marzipan and nutty notes. quite good one, nice sherry and marzipan notes. good stuff.

F: big, tan, long lasting. C: dark almost black, hazy, opaque. A: dark malts, caramel, dark bread, dates, brown sugar, bit toffee. T: sweet dark malty, bread, caramel, bit chocolate, liquorice, medium to full body, medium carbonation, not bad for the style, enjoyed, 30cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.
