Sampled from the tap at ABR 2021. Pours a really murky dark brown with a thin gray head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma is straight recces puff cereal with a bit of recces and sweet dark grains. Flavor has more sweet dark grains with puffs and and chocolate coming through.

16 oz. can. Aroma shows a solid amount of peanut butter with a good amount of chocolate. Body is thick and full with lingering chocolate and peanut butter throughout the sip. Pretty damn nice!

Can (10/8/21) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an inky, opaque black with no sparkle, nice viscosity, thin cap of fizzy light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted peanuts, chocolate. Taste is strong roasted peanuts over sweet roasted malt and chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, chewy texture, mildest pleasant alcohol warmth, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, gets the peanuts right, roastiness of porter still present with bit of chocolate and alcohol hidden well.

16 oz. can. From the crack of the can I could smell peanut butter and dark chocolate nuance. I have sampled a good number of peanut butter-based brews. This one is really good. The peanut butter and the chocolate mingles perfectly. Great mouthfeel for a porter with a smooth texture.

Pint can pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up various levels of chocolate and roasted malts and malt balls and comes across a little modest yet inviting. The malts lean toward releasing a faint fruity ester sensation at times. The taste is all about chocolate goodness from front to back. It's chocolate flowing into dark chocolate, a bit of Ovaltine chocolate maltiness and then chocolate malt balls. What vanilla that's in here it's light and just mingling with the malts in the background. The booziness is light but it adds just the right counter to cut into the richness a bit and create a pleasing balanced sipper. This is a solid option when chocolate is the 'call' for the next beer.

A 16 oz can purchased from an online retailer. Nice shiny aluminum can with a pleasant stick-on label that gives the current information: 8% abv, 45 ibu and 1 pint. I lift the tab and pour into my prepared snifter to see a tangerine colored, hazy liquid with a hefty but declining head of off-white foam. The scent is fruity citrus and perhaps some pine. A drink is nice, I get sweet orange juice, pineapple, tangerine again, white bread, a hoppy thread and straw. The 8% provides a hefty sensation. I find this rather decent.

nPint can pours with nice deep dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a bucket full of vanilla beans as well as thinner notes of dark roasted malts, some dark fruity esters and dark roasted coffee. The taste is similar as it delivers a tasty thicket of fresh vanilla bean goodness that's balanced by malt sweetened dark roasted to nearly burnt maltiness. To midway the vanilla enhanced flavor picks up a low murmur of sweet dark fruity esters like plums and figs. This is nice as the flavors are pretty well integrated and they create a pleasing balance and depth. Nice sipper indeed. The oak that's here is really well hidden. If I didn't look at the description I wouldn't know oak was involved.
