750 via Press Online. A few months in the cellar, a week in the fridge.
Pint glass at home. Subtle, filtered, medium gold pour.
Citrus, ginger brightness, pithy apple nose.
Taste is onion & bold citrus, mealy apple, bright pithy grapefruit, white grape, barely any noticable apple notes, so pithy, medium high astringency, slight zinger on the finish. Tastes almost nothing like the Kingston I recall, west or east coast.
Medium low carb, thin, acidy, medium tartness, very well integrated abv.
Felt like I was drinking a hopped cider. Less nuance more feels. So much fun.

Bottle from Press online, part of their fall seasonal box.
750ml, lo-ball at home. Pale, orange gold, rum-y pour.
Fresh, fruity, apple sauce, grass nose.
Bittersweet, tempered, sharp veggie, old glue, creamy, subtle vanilla. If this is half Kingston, my toilet paper is one-ply.
Bland but sharp, lacks bold & acidic notes. Creamy & a touch hot.
Too mellow.

750ml via Press Online. Pint glass at home. Another rare Keeve from an otherwise unknown cidery.
Medium gold, gently protein hazed, good cascading soda head that zips away instantly.
Medium funk, compost, honeyed apples, wet hay nose.
Oaty front end, very sweet, barnyard, browned apples, cabbage, cooked down cider, white pepper, medium light tannins, lingering white sugar & veg.
Lower than expected carb but still a pip. Super syrupy, slick, with a touch of veggie bitterness & slightly stiff abv.
Complex flavor but not a great keeve.
