On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat spicy hops- pine, light resin, grapefruit. There’s just a bit of cedar in the background which is nicely complimentary and not overpowering like Cigar City Humidor releases. Creamy mouth feel. The cedar is similarly subdued in the flavor while being obviously present. Low to moderate sweetness as bitterness. Could use a bit of tweaking but the cedar odd is nicely integrated.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a dark brown appearance with a brown head. Some anise, light smoke, roast, and coffee in the aroma. Medium light body. Medium high sweetness. Dull bitterness. A little watery. Chocolate, oatmeal, and coffee flavors. Not bad but a little too thin.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Quite a bit of orange citrus in the aroma with some pine and crackers. Moderate high bitterness. Moderate low sweetness. Medium body. Pretty hop dominate flavor with some pine, spice, and lots of citrus. Ok.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a clear, golden yellow appearance with a creamy, off white head. The aroma is full of green hops and pretty herbal with a bit of spice. Medium body. Fair amount of toasted make. More green hops that almost come off as veggies. Moderate bitterness. Some caramel. My least favorite here thus far.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a copper appearance with a cream colored head. The aroma is pretty dull- some earth, toast, and caramel. Medium body. Creamy mouth feel. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Some slight citrus notes in the flavor to go with a bit of herbs and pine. A touch watery. Clean but forgettable.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a fairly clear orange appearance with a thin white head. Definitely hoppier than most American wheats but it’s nice. Some pine and orange citrus in the nose from the hops. A touch of resin. The flavor is clean with some light bubblegum, pine, and honey. Some citrus as well. Low to moderate sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Pretty clean. Solid.

On tap @ the brewery in Niwot. Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a nice, creamy white head. Sweet wheat, lemon rind, soft yeast, and light citrus in the nose. Soft body. Medium carbonation. Low to moderate sweetness. Low bitterness. The flavor is citrusy (orange, lemon, peach) with some bready yeast. Overall, not very spicy. Very easy to drink. Simple and satisfying. I’d buy a pint of this.

On tap @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pours a milky yellow appearance with a white head. White wine, green apples, dank hops, and pear in the nose. Usually the green apple note is a big turn off, but here it is more from the hops. Quite nice aroma, actually. Light to moderate tartness. Herbal / dank hoppy flavor with some white fruit (apples, pears, white grapes). Pretty dry. Great brew.
