500ml bottle from Craft Ale Keswick - Clear amber body with big white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, sweet with hints of floral hops. Sweet malty flavour with grains and hops. A lot more body to it than I remember from the Marston's version.

Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back.
Biscuit, caramel, malt & woody tastes with a bitter finish.
This is the wrong beer in the bottle! The beer should be dark.

Pendle Beer Festival 2026 Beer#7. A rebirth of an old classic, which is still as traditional as it gets with a mildly sweet dark maltiness, slipping down the palate with ease.
