(bottle with that ugly screw cap) Clear golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Herbal and slightly grassy hop aroma with a honey-ish but also papery note. Medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel, slightly bitter flavour. Balanced hops-malts ratio, slightly herbal hoppy finish. Okay-ish.

(bottle) Lightly hazy straw coloured with a vanishing foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with honey. Sweet malty taste, yeasty with a fruity tinge, unharmonic yeasty bitterness in the finish.

(bottle) Clear and dark ruby colour with a steady foamy off-white medium head. Dense light-sweet malty aroma with caramel. Moderately sweet malty flavour and taste, slightly roasted with notes of caramel and dried fruits, well-balanced bitterness in the lasting finish. Engelbräu, Crailsheim is definitely not my favourite brewery, but they are good in doing Bocks.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy orangey golden with a small head. Huge yeast sediment. Vaguely malty nose. Sweetish malty - and nothing much more. No greater bitterness. Not bad, just lacks some character. 031205

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, dark amber with a very creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose. Marked character of roasted malt and caramel with a vague burned sensation. Quite pleasant. 021205

Bottle. Samll white fully deminishing head. Yellow colour. Thins light malty aroma. Nice flavour, a bit citrus. Average finish, a bit too carbonated.

Bottle: Golden coloured, big fluffy white head; sweetish grainy nose with a tinge of honey; mainly sweetish flavour; light bodied to watery; sweetish finish with a faint bitterness and a kind of "medical" aftertaste. Not really bad, but rather monotonous..............

Clean dark amber color. Caramel aroma and strong caramel taste, with some residual sweetness and too high alcohol perception. Only at the end it’s more bitter. Ordinary.

Bottle. Creamy eccellent mostly lasting white head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma, heavy yeasty ditto. Watery flavour. A touch of bitterness in finish. Too carbonated.
