Athenian Brewery SA is one of the leading companies producing and marketing beer in Greece. Founded in 1963 by a group of Greek entrepreneurs and a member of the Group Heineken NV Works based in Athens. The first factory was Athenian Brewery in Athens in 1965 and produced beer Amstel. In 1975 was inaugurated the second factory in Thessaloniki and in 1985 purchased the third , in the industrial area Patras .

11 oz bottle. Bought this to make my map on here more blue! Best before 8/2012. Aroma is corny, dirty grain, bland. Pours pale gold with a one-finger white collapsing head. Taste begins sweet and turns bitter mid-sip. Has a grassy flavor. Body is thin, carbonation high. More complex than the macros, but this is still nothing special.

Can @ FOneFan. Clear pale golden with small white head. Aroma is malt and grainy. Flavour is malt, grainy, hops, medium sweet, little watery, little grass and a little bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, rice - corn, malt extract. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average duration. Green bottle from Brewforia. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is bready with a light touch of spice. Near med body. Flavor is very bready, and the spice is so light that it’s very like no hop at all. Probably good to wash down food.

Can. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, white head. Very weak aroma with grains, fruits and some grass and hay. The flavor goes in the same direction, they certainly didn’t spend much money on hops. Rather thin on the palate, and a bit hard on the carbonation. Short finish, which is just as good. Super boring and nothing to return to. 111105
