Quite light beer, with sweet taste and large white head. One of the average lagers we have here but it’s drinkable if it is very chilled (and with the appropriate food :) )

Bottle Pours a very light pale yellow amber. Miniscule head but some fine sheeting...hey wait a minute....this is exactly what I typed for the other Athenian beer I had earlier tonight. What I keep thinking of is the Simpsons episode when Homer takes a tour of the Duff brewery and sees the 1 pipe coming in that splits 3 ways : Duf, Duff Light, and Duff Ice. Fairly sweet. very light and no hops. Can’t be spending much to make this stuff if they can ship it all the way out here and still only get $.99 for a bottle.

Bottle Pours a very light pale yellow amber. Miniscule head but some fine sheeting lacing. Aromas of lightly toasted grain and aples. Pilsnerish. Flavors are flat, cereal, and light toasted wheat. Like mini-wheats. lively carbonation and an aftertaste of wet cardboard. No, notebook paper. Probly wont finish this one...

Yellow lager with white head. Malty aroma with some metal in it too. Flavour of malt and apples, not very good and not completely unpleasant either.

2003 bottle. Pours a moderately dull yellow, light gold flecks. Mostly dissipating white head, bubbly, clear. Aroma is not as crisp as I would expect, more sweet, but very light. Flavor is surprisingly sweet malt (honey, shortbread, light dough). Some crispness as it finishes, but the sweetness sticks and really dominates the beer. Too sweet, and uncomplex to be notable.
