Description

Bottle shared at home, thanks to Wim! Almost black with tan head. BlackBerry jam, roasted malts, earthy, sugary grains, old coffee, cassis. Very fruity. Over medium sweet and just medium bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Decent.

Draught @ Proeflokaal Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, 1015 BS Amsterdam, Netherlands.

[ As Brouwersnös Zwaar Geschut ].
ABV: 10.5%. Cloudy - hazy medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet malt, malty, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, rich, bread, malty, caramel, sweet malt, alcohol, sweet malt - honey - warm sweetness. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. Sorry for the low score but this is really not me .. malty, sweet and alcohol do not do it for me this time ! [20190926]

Quarantine bottle at home, another beer that nobody wants to share... Clear deep amber with nice tan head. Oh yeah, this has some black pepper. Also caramel, quite some fruity notes, light mineral, soft grassy hops. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel. Not bad, but it's a bit bland beyond the pepper so that's the one thing that really stands out.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Orange sweets and floral notes in the aroma. Ginger. Malty caramelly sweet flavor, floral, orange, nutmeg. Sticky finish. Disappointing

Battle at home. A bit hazy amber with beige head. Light floral, bread, soft caramel, apricot, light earthy malts. Under medium sweet and bitter. Also under medium bodied. Yeah, it's a low alcohol amber ale, nothing special but pretty drinkeable.

Fles thuis geprobeerd, het is een oranje bruinig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een wijnachtige wat kruidige geur. De smaak is kruidig en wat gin achtig.
