Bottle shared at tasting. Nice reddish color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, liquor, some vanilla and some oak notes. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Quite well done.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, geprobeerd met Benzai en Keukeman. Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een gebrande cognac achtige geur. De smaak is vol, gebrand, cognac en hout.

Bottle shared at tasting. Opaque black color with a medium sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, firm roast. Flavor is malts, roasted malts, burnt malts, bitter, roasted coffee notes and a bit earthy at some point. Body is decent, carbonation is average. Not bad.

Swing top bottle. Dark amber color. Dried citrusfruit. Madeira and grapes in the aroma. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor with dried citrus and red fruit. Grapes, oak, vanilla, madeira and rum. Has thinned but surprisingly good.

Swing top bottle. Deep dark brown color. Toffee in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with toffee. Soft herbal notes. Vanilla, rum. I can’t taste the winebarrel but I can taste oak. Nice, fairly complex beer.
