11th October 2008. GABF. Smooth but dry palate. Toasted malt. Dry finish. Where is that Oatmeal silky sweetness?

Draught at Rattle ’n Hum, New York
Hazy amber color. Light malt and cookies aroma. Good body, strong malt and caramel flavor, but also burning alcohol; vanilla oak touch; correct bitterness. It reminds me some Wheat Wine. Powerful but unimpressive.

Cask at Pony Bar, New York, simply as American Pale Ale, 6% ABV
Amber color; small head. Not much American, it’s more kind of an English Golden Ale; the aroma is maybe too light; also the malt and toffee flavor is light, as well as the body, but it has some pleasant earthy touch; correct bitterness; the final is quite dry. Pleasant.

Draught at Barcade, New York
Muddy amber color. Poor aroma and flavor. Sorry, there is not much to say about this besides that it has a good body structure.

On tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn NYC on 22nd July 2009. Amber, slightly hazy with lasting white head. Grapefruit hop aromas and a rich blend of fruit and hop tickle the palate towards a long, hoppy finish.

A dark reddih amber ale with a thin off white head, Lightly hopped aroma with light acidic notes. In mouth, a strange infected sour wheat ale, with light British hops. Really not good. On tap at House of Brews, 46th st., July 2 2009, as Spring Wheat.
