Brownish color. Smells a little hoppy. Yes, some hops in the flavor but less than I was expecting according to the smell. Some hops attempt to build during the session but never quite gets there. Yes, overall not a bad beer. Some spice in there. Some sizzle. Generally a laid back almost hoppy beer. Just enough hops to let you know its malt backed by a medium low hop kick. As the session nears the end I think I detect a very mild hint of tartness in there.

First time I’ve seen these beers around here. Open bottle lets the dull ipa perfume abound. Strong bitter oily mouth coating soapy stuff. Its 7% and you know it. Weird how I never get used to the taste of good ipa. Pine tar sap. Appears rather viscous. wew. Less 0.1 since it lingers so terribly long in the back of my mouth.

Nice darker pour from a short stubby bottle. Choco malt aroma. Tries to be creamy but it goes into a bitter attitude soon after the session begins. Creamy malty, then bitter medicine. Yes, lots of personality in this brown ale. Could use a few manners. Not impressed, not sure what the hemp is sposed to do to this, can’t detect its effects.

Bottle. Piney citrus hops and sweet caramel malt aroma. Slightly hazy orange with a moderate ivory head. Sweet caramel malt and earthy orange hops flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation.

Bottle. Nutty brown sugar malt aroma. Clear chestnut with a moderate beige head, moderate lacing. Similar to the nose with nutty brown sugar malt flavor. Light body, average carbonation. Solid brown ale. I think this would be a good pizza beer.

12 oz. bottle purchased @ Top Shelf Brews, Hampton, NH. Clear caramel color with lively carbonation. The nose is hops covered in caramel hops. The taste is real pleasant. Taste is sweeter malts at first transitioning to a good crisp pine and citrus hoppiness. The hops lingering for just a moderate amount of time after the sip. Lively carbonation dances over the tongue. Slightly dry texture. I’m sure this would score slightly better on draft sample. A real nice IPA.

12 oz. bottle purchased @ Top Shelf Brews, Hampton, NH. Aroma is caramel malts, nuttiness, with some brown sugar. Flavor is consistent with aroma, with a thin body. I don’t really know what hemp should smell or taste like but… I don’t pick up anything extra in this ale.

12 oz. bottle purchased @ Top Shelf Brews, Hampton, NH. Guess the color?? Yes, it is an amber /red with soapy white head. Some lace. Aroma is caramel and weak grassy hops. Palate is more malt-driven with the grass and a light fruit hop note as well. Nicely balanced. The only negative is the thin body. But overall you could knock back several in a session if you desired.
