bottle - This perry has a pleasant ripe pear aroma. It’s mild, sweet, and a bit watery though the latter is predictably better as it warms. I thought this one was a little bland but it’s definitely refreshing and good for a hot day.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are apples, wood, bourbon, fruits, vanilla and is full bodied. Interesting taste.

Bottle, 6.78%. Clear pale yellow with tiny head. Aroma is fruit, apple, mint and honey, Flavour is apple, little honey, litlte mint, sweet, little sugar, little honey and spices.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark rose with no head. Blackberry aroma. Med minus body. Flavor has blackberry, and maybe seed, flavors, which tend to hide the pear. Nice take on perry.

Bottle, pinched a rates worth from Sue over lunch at Anacapa Brewing Co, Ventura 01/05/14. Cherry red in appearance with little in the way of a covering. Nose is blackcurrant, light spice, bramble berries, apple & blackcurrant squash. Taste comprises much the same, a little pear is detectable, moderate sweetness, orchard fruit and blackcurrant. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Ok fruit cider.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light pear notes with a good amount of sweet honey, mint and a bit of a boozy burn. Flavor has a nice pear note with some sweet honey, with a hint of mint and a bit of backing whiskey.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours hazy/cloudy golden. Aroma is apples/honey, medium body, no carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is whisky, honey, and hint of peaches. Flavors don’t meld for me.
